Ward 7

> WARD_BRIEFPost-Harvest Recovery

Ward 7 is a subterranean bunker ward located beneath the main production floor. Its reinforced vaulted ceilings and iron-frame recovery units were designed to house up to 30 patients simultaneously, though current occupancy fluctuates based on the severity of each harvest cycle.

This is where workers recover from the physical toll of the "Final Harvest" — the accelerated production runs that push both personnel and equipment to their operational limits. Patients are monitored by automated systems and a skeleton crew of medical staff who have not been rotated in over four years.

The ward features Surgical Taint-Detection Lamps that use a blue-tinted spectrum to identify microscopic radiological contamination on skin tissue. These ceiling-mounted units sweep the ward continuously, and any contamination detected triggers an automatic quarantine protocol.

Patients admitted to Ward 7 undergo a mandatory 48-hour observation period. During this time, they are assessed for cellular degradation, radiation absorption levels, and what the medical staff refer to as "taint progression" — a term that has never been officially defined in any facility documentation.

Workers who pass recovery are cleared to return to the Hub and resume their shifts. Workers who do not pass recovery are transferred to an undisclosed secondary ward. No employee has ever reported visiting this secondary ward.

WARD 7 IS A RECOVERY ZONE. PATIENTS WHO ATTEMPT TO LEAVE BEFORE CLEARANCE WILL BE SEDATED AND RETURNED TO THEIR UNITS.
