> FACILITY_OVERVIEWOverview

The Null Plains Facility is the sole production site for all Auntie Atom Synthetics products.

Spanning over 200,000 square feet, the facility houses industrial baking equipment, containment zones, employee processing areas, and the Core — a restricted section that no employee has entered and returned from.

Built in 1954 under government contract NP-7742, the facility was designed to withstand “all foreseeable and unforeseeable thermal events.” It has operated continuously for over 70 years without a single successful external inspection.

Key Locations
Blue Ribbon Tubes
Primary Production Line
Blue Ribbon Tubes
The primary production line where raw ingredients are processed into Auntie Atom's signature pies. The tubes operate at temperatures that would be considered unsafe by any regulatory body — fortunately, no regulatory body has jurisdiction over the Null Plains.
Sanitation Station
Decontamination & Processing
Sanitation Station
All employees must pass through Sanitation upon entry and exit. The decontamination process is thorough, mandatory, and occasionally irreversible. Compliance officers monitor this area 24/7.
The Incinerator
Waste & Disposal Unit
The Incinerator
Failed products, contaminated materials, and "discontinued employees" are processed here. The Incinerator operates at all hours and its output feeds directly back into the facility's power grid. Nothing is wasted at Auntie Atom Synthetics.
Waiting Station
Employee Intake & Orientation
Waiting Station
The entry point for all new hires. Employees arrive here, receive their uniforms and quota assignments, and begin their first (and often only) shift. The Waiting Station features motivational posters, a PA system broadcasting Auntie's messages, and a one-way door.
Ward 7
Post-Harvest Recovery
Ward 7
A subterranean bunker ward with reinforced vaulted ceilings and iron-frame recovery units. Ward 7 is where workers recover from the physical toll of the Final Harvest — the last stop before returning to the Hub.
Decontamination Chamber
Critical Contamination Protocol
Decontamination Chamber
When a worker's radiation load reaches critical saturation, the facility relocates them — instantly, and without consent — to the Decontamination Chamber. Sealed inside a glass containment tube, the subject is bathed in Auntie's purifying mist until their levels return to acceptable. The chamber door does not open until the cycle is complete.
Restricted Access
ACCESS TO THE CORE IS PERMANENTLY RESTRICTED. UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL APPROACHING SECTOR 7 WILL BE RECLASSIFIED AS EXPENDABLE ASSETS.
