Critical Contamination Protocol
Decontamination Chamber

The Decontamination Chamber is the facility's emergency response to critical contamination. When a worker's accumulated radiation reaches total saturation, they are relocated to the chamber automatically — there is no request, no warning, and no opportunity to decline.
The chamber is built around a single glass containment tube, sealed at top and bottom. Once a subject is inside, the tube floods with Auntie's proprietary purifying mist — a cold emerald vapor that strips radiological contaminants from skin, fabric, and — in prolonged cases — memory.
A countdown billboard mounted above the tube displays the remaining cycle time. Subjects are instructed to stand still and breathe normally. Between cycles, the billboard shows only one message: "Awaiting next subject."

The decontamination cycle cannot be paused, shortened, or interrupted. The chamber door remains sealed for the full duration and does not respond to interior controls. Workers who panic inside the tube are reminded, in Auntie's own voice, that panic extends the cycle.
Upon completion, the subject is released and routed directly back to their assigned shift. No recovery period is granted. Productivity lost during decontamination is added to the worker's outstanding quota.
